1. Putting a floor tax rate of 30% on capital gains is going to smash young people who are taking on risk to get ahead in life – just shows what a rotten government we’ve got.
2. Great to see Elevra Lithium (ELV) take advantage of it’s booming share price and raise over $400mil to expand it’s already massive LITHIUM mine – the plan looks sensational on paper with the NPV to rise 45% and unit costs to fall about 20%. The project has a pay back of about 2 years!…..Existing shareholders are able to buy up to $30K worth in an SPP @ $12.20 Vs last sale of $12.07 so at this stage it’s not worth doing.
